About Us

The National Forum of Community Radio Stations (FORCOM) is a national network of radios, whose objective is to improve coordination and the work these undertake. Created in 2004, FORCOM has about 50 members affiliated to the organization.

Our priority thematic areas incorporate: Gender/child marriage and gender equality, Communication, Lobby and Advocacy, Monitoring of Governance and Access to Information, Training and Content Development.

Mission

Represent and defend the interests of Community Radios based on an effective coordination of the needs and interventions of all members with no geographic, ethnical, religious, political, cultural and gender discrimination.

Vision

Community Radios united, strengthened and sustainable expanding people’s right to information by means of a process based on community participation aimed at its own development.
